Price Chopper is a chain of supermarkets headquartered in Schenectady, New York and operates 137 stores in Upstate New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
DevBBQ provided Price Chopper a new website www.pricechopper.com integrated with platform partner Mercatus Technologies. The site provided shopping list, digital flyer, loyalty card, recipe database, and CMS functionalities.
Paymi offers cash back rewards to consumers by having them link their bank accounts and credit cards to Paymi before making everyday online purchases. Those purchases are matched by Paymi to corresponding and targeted offers created by merchants. Upon seeing a matching transaction, Paymi rewards consumers with cash back, redeemable by e-transfer.
DevBBQ helped Paymi refine their product vision and has built a bank account transaction analysis platform alongside a robust merchant marketing and targeting system that is being adopted into the marketplace.
Shifthub was an Extreme Startups-backed SAAS platform that catered to shift-based workforces. Shifthub enabled managers to build and push schedules to employees via their mobile devices, communicate with their team, and manage payroll expenses. It made employee shift exchanges and company media sharing easier.
DevBBQ was called upon when Shifthub needed help scaling and pivoting towards what they had identified as their product-market fit. After having a first product iteration out in the market for some time, DevBBQ organized the Shifthub team and intelligently re-engineered critical pieces of the platform leading it to an acquisition by competitor WhenIWork.
